At least for now (02/00), we have abandoned the effort of finding a search engine just for the items listed in the registry. You might search it, however, by (a) simply spacing down through the listings looking for interesting things, (b) using the EDIT and COPY functions to copy items under one letter into a WordPerfect or Word document, and (c) using SEARCH functions in those programs to find who came from a university, who is considered to be influenced by whom, who is interested in a given area of research, etc. Someday we hope to have technology to generate lists, when the registry gets high up into the thousands, as we expect it will, but for now theses techniques might suffice. Thanks.
