the United Kingdom Society for Sartrean Studies

Proposals for papers at the above conference should be sent either to David Drake (d.drake@mdx.ac.uk) or to Andy Leak (a.leak@ucl.ac.uk).

 

Papers are normally 40-45 mins in length and delivered in English. Proposals on any aspect of Sartre’s varied output will be considered, as well as proposals concerning the Sartrean ‘family’: Beauvoir, Merleau- Ponty, Genet et al. The aim of the conference is to reflect the breadth of Sartre’s own activity as well as the richness of his connections with other major twentieth-century artists and thinkers. Suitable papers will be   considered for publication in the prestigious journal Sartre Studies International. Closing date for proposals June 1 2002
